These are the small veins that appear around the cheek and nose area. They are treated using the Electrolysis machine with a similar system. A consultation prior to treatment is also required.

Per treatment basis

The most effective form of electrolysis currently available is the dual or progressive blends. Both forms use a blend of high frequency and galvanic currents. The client is asked to hold a sponge with an electrode attached to complete the galvanic current circuit.

The success of the blend means only a 5 to 10 percent regrowth rate compared to 60 percent with other forms of electrolysis. The galvanic current creates a chemical reaction in the skin, which produces lye (caustic soda) that penetrates local tissue and kills the hair germ cells that create a hair, the high frequency current then increases the action of the lye.

Finally an important part of the treatment is cataphoresis, which involves an electrode roller soaked in acetic acid and rolled over the treated area. This re-establishes the acid mantle and bonds the sodium and hydroxyl ions to any free germ cells to continue their destruction for the next 5 to 7 minutes.

A free consultation is necessary prior to any electrolysis treatment.
