The cartridge strip waxing system (as opposed to strip waxing with a metal spatula) is used as it is tidy and efficient and not likely to cause the burns and abrasions seen with spatula waxing. Also, this system is much more hygienic for the client and faster to apply giving greater comfort levels all around.

Karite or Azulene Hot Wax is used for delicate areas such as bikini or underarm as it is much more gentle and leaves the skin feeling smooth. Any redness or swelling only lasts a short time unlike strip waxing which can leave the skin feeling tender for 2 days.
